Your next step would be the Divemaster Course, which allows you to guide certified divers, assist an instructor during courses and even teach specialized courses yourself.
The PADI Divemaster Course offers you the opportunity to start climbing the professional diver ladder.

Whether you are interested in seeking a new career, or just want to improve your diving knowledge and skills.
You will work closely with our experienced PADI Instructors, who will mentor you to hone your knowledge and skills to a leadership level.

Our course in Sharm El Sheikh includes the PADI Materials (Divemaster Crewpack) and up to 14 days National Park and lunch and drink fees whilst on the boat (an approx. value of €475), so at the end of your course there are no big extra charges. 

In Dahab the course includes the PADI Materials (Divemaster Crewpack), up to 6 days Blue Hole National Park fees and local breakfast at the dive centre when applicable.

What is involved in the Divemaster course?

PADI Divemaster training develops your leadership abilities.
During the Divemaster program, you learn dive leadership skills through both classroom and independent study.
You will be able to put this knowledge into action through a series of practical training exercises.

After becoming certified as a PADI Divemaster you will be authorized to

  • Supervise both training and non-training-related activities by planning, organizing, and directing dives.
  • Assist an instructor during confined and open water training on any PADI course.
  • Teach and certify PADI Skin Divers independently. This also includes conducting the PADI Seal Team AquaMission: Skin Diver Specialist.
  • Conduct the Discover Local Diving experience.
  • Accompany certified PADI Scuba Divers on subsequent dives.

PADI Divemaster Course Duration

Becoming a Divemaster will take three to four weeks of hard work.

The PADI Divemaster course is the first professional level of training in the PADI system. It is designed to train experienced divers in leadership and supervisory roles, preparing them for a career in the diving industry.

To enrol in the PADI Divemaster course, you must be at least 18 years old, have completed the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course or equivalent certification, have completed the PADI Rescue Diver course or equivalent certification, and have logged at least 40 dives.

In the PADI Divemaster course, you will learn skills and knowledge related to leadership, supervision, teaching, and customer service in the diving industry. You will also learn advanced diving skills and techniques.

In Dahab we also include the crewpack and up to 6 Blue Hole National Park fees, our staff bring in a local breakfast daily, you are welcome to join them anytime you are at the dive centre. Please note above what is not included in the course based on your destination of choice.
