Golden Blocks

The beautiful dive site Golden Blocks, got its name from 2 powering pinnacles that reach the surface and are covered in beautiful golden Anthias. This beautiful dive site is only a short drive away from our dive center and is located in the South of Dahab. The dive site is perfect for divers off all levels. The entry is an easy walk into the water over shingle pebbles and is nicely protected by waves. The dive site of the Golden Block is a gentle coral slope with sandy pathways, which are covered in sea grass. The first pathway starts at about 10 meters and descends to 30+ meters. The second pathway is like a small canyon and the third one has a beautiful large gorgonian fan coral at about 22 meters. Your dive can be done in different ways, either starting at Moray Gardens and finishing at the Golden Blocks, or you can start your dive around the Golden Block Towers and return to your original entry point. While diving in the shallow waters there, you can see nudibranchs and groupers hiding under the table corals. The third option for this beautiful dive site is to start at the Golden Blocks and drift to Moray Garden. The dive site is suitable for all level of divers, beginners to advanced, and offers you a wonderful way to discover and enjoy the wonders of the Red Sea. If you are lucky, you might even see Mantas.
