Named so by 2 of the original dive guides in Sharm, after jumping in at this site they found they weren’t at the site they thought they were at but realised by coincidence it looked the same so named it Sodfa, Arabic for coincidence.
The reef descends to approx 12 metres with a progressive sandy slope decent to the drop off ridge at 18-25 metres. Table corals and fan corals are found on the ridge edge. The divesite is very similar to the more commonly dived tower.
